There are just some things like reminding them to pick up the trash every day. We provide more services and amenities to better serve our residents and help them feel safe, secure, and attended to in our community. Our staff goes above and beyond with personable and friendly attitude to provide these services in a way that makes our residents’ days better. Our Assisted Living lifestyle allows residents to continue living the healthy and active lifestyles they are used to with a little added assistance when they need it.
She's a picky eater, and the nice thing is, she's on a healthy diet while she's in there. They're both diabetics, so they're watching her diabetes. They have an open house towards the end of February. I'll get a better chance if I go to it, to see what the food is like over there. We are living at Lincolnwood Place, and it's fine.
Senior living amenities that make for a purposeful lifestyle
We know the importance of staying connected. It’s what helps our residents feel more at home. Nursing home care is the most expensive type of senior care, costing $7,254 per month. Adult day care, which is delivered during daytime hours to groups of seniors at a community center, is the most affordable at $814.
They have a lot of music type activities, they have people who come in and sing and dance, and they have some religious services, Catholic mass, Bingo, and crafts. My husband says this is really a nice place. Families looking for Alzheimers and Dementia care are most often looking for a community that helps with activities of daily living such as bathing, personal care, and dressing. We offer personalized care plans and award-winning daily programming to ensure each resident gets the right care they deserve. Continuing care retirement communities are a long-term care option for older adults who want to stay in the same place as they age. As care needs change over time, residents can smoothly transition their care services without changing their living situation.
Sheepshead Bay Nursing Home
My brother stayed for a few months at Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital. It’s an excellent place and they took my brother to another level in his transformation. The staff that we have worked with have been a blessing to the family. They’re one of the very few in the country as far as spinal and brain damage. The keep the guests active, and there’s a great ratio of nurses to patients. Donations of physical goods are always welcome.
I never thought that me, as a primary caregiver to my mother, would be able to have an actual life of my own. It is truly a wonderful place, I tell my mother it is like living in a resort and she happily agrees. I would give them 10 stars if I could. We saw the apartments, and we had lunch there.
Bishop Henry B. Hucles Episcopal Nursing Home
The food was better than most facilities. The rooms were not so outstanding, they were small but acceptable. The manager introduced me to every person we saw when I toured the place. The nursing staff, CNA's and physical therapists seemed very caring and very professional. One of the best things was I could talk to the nurses and the manager, and they pretty much knew the status of my dad at any given time. I thought that they were engaged with their residents.
She is physically well and independent but over the past year has been showing signs of memory loss. She has been there for over a month, and we are delighted - and so is she. The staff and residents are friendly, the food is excellent, and the facilities are first class. They have a varied program of activities, and transportation to shopping and cultural sites on a daily basis. My brother is scheduled to move in on Thursday into Lincolnwood Place.
Quality Assurance
Our well-trained care team provides structure, compassion and individual care for your loved one. The staff is continuously trained throughout the year to take care of our residents, especially those with dementia, a sometimes hard-to-manage progression and emotionally draining situation. Engaging activities and daily tasks are designed to meet the needs of resident. We love our seniors the way we love our families.
Comprehensive emergency response plans are in place to address any potential danger quickly and effectively. “We have a large variety of meals offered to us here through the buffet, and we can always order something from the kitchen. The transportation is also very good, and my wife gets very good care here.” – Herbert R. Lincolnwood Place offers Independent Living, Assisted Living, award-winning Memory Care, as well as Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation. As a Continuous Care Retirement Community, residents have the benefit of aging-in-place comfortably. My sister was in this facility for several months after a fall down her stairs that led to severe breaks in both legs.
The goal of the facility in general seems to be to keep you there as long as Medicare pays, not to rehab the patient and get them back home asap. Would never recommend anyone to rehab here. In this guide, we discuss the cost of nursing home services in Lincoln, as well as some of the free resources available to residents to help them cover the cost of care.
My mother-in-law seems to be doing fine so far. There is exercising, movies, bingo, and religious services. The community is very clean and very nice.
They were very kind and very friendly at the skilled nursing section. When I went in there, I liked that they had a nice reception area. In the background, they had a large TV area, which is nice for the people who are there, and it gives them a warm and friendly area to be. My sister-in-law says the food is good, and they're feeding her quite well.
